Überblick
Überblick
René Baarslag was born in 1948 in Heerlen, Holland. In 1977 he visited Granada for the first time and felt in love with the art of guitar making. He worked with Antonio Marin Montero in Granada but also with Robert Bouchet in France. Today he lives in Granada, where he has set up his own workshop. He is world-wide known for his traditionaly built guitars. His guitars are well know for such qualities as:
- Volume
- Balance between basses and trebles
- Elasticity and dynamics for the right hand
- Good sustain
- Fast response
The wood he uses to build his guitars is selected thouroughly, giving a special attention to the drying time and the age of the wood. This new guitar has a cedar top and Ziricote back and sides. The tuning machines are made by Alessi. As well as being a very appealing instrument, the richness and depth of its tone are very special. It is a really complex instrument that allows a great sound research and invites to a colourfull and dynamic playing. Included is a Hiscox Pro II case.
This guitar is CITES-free (CF).
