Überblick
The top of this precious guitar is made of cedar, the purflings consist of wenge wood, which was also used to construct the guitar’s back and ribs. The bracing which can be found on the inner side of the guitar’s back is made of cedar, whereas on the top’s side a mixture of cedar and spruce bracings can be detected. The wood shavings used for the purflings are mosaics which consist of maple which was stained with natural dyes. The composition of different mosaic motifs was done by Roy Fankhänel following the example of Francisco Simplicio. Inlays on nut and bridge consist of bone. The guitar is coated with shellac (high-gloss closed porous). The tuning system by Rubner have a teflon bearing (tuners and tuning pegs consist of artificial ivory).

- Neck-Body connection following José Romanillos' Spanish way of construction
- Head connected with neck by a conical mortise joint
- Strongly arched back (10 mm on a length of 600 mm)
- Crossbars supported by brackets
- Scale of strings 650 mm
- 20 frets
- Fretmarkers consisting of bone on 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th fret
