Kim Lissarrague is a recognized Australian luthier. He began building guitars at the very early age of thirteen and is now established in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Kim makes a limited number of high-quality guitars per year and developed his designs based on the “Australian School” of guitar making. In other words, his guitars are lattice-braced with an arched back, offering a vast projection, clarity, and sustain.
This 2017 lattice guitar is in very good condition. As a pre-loved instrument, it displays minimal playing wears but nothing structural. This beautiful instrument was crafted with an exceptionally thin, responsive cedar top and beautiful dark-grained Ziricote back and sides. The expressive power emanating from this guitar is impressive, making this instrument by Kim Lissarrague of our top 5 most powerful guitars. Not only does it impress with its volume of sound, but also its very rich and flexible tone. This instrument is definitely a true concert powerhouse that can be played in any concert setting. The responsive and strong trebles make this guitar easy for the right hand. Combined with an exceptional neck shape, this guitar is a pure joy to play.
