Überblick
Friedemann Beck completed his Gasellenausbildung in 2010. During this training, he ventured to Spain for the first time for a two-week internship, immersing himself in learning and honing his craft. Post-graduation, Friedemann spent almost another year working alongside the renowned guitar craftsman, Andres Marvi. In 2015, his journey took him to “Lakewood Guitars,” where his passion for the craft found new avenues. At Lakewood, Friedemann pursued several side projects. He studied the concept of double-top guitars, made electric basses and, most notably, built his masterpiece. After a rewarding four years, Friedemann left Lakewood Guitars, equipped with a Master Craftsman’s diploma in hand. Since 2020, Friedemann Beck has been operating his own atelier, dedicating his focus to concert guitars. Throughout his career, his passion for guitar making has been evident, solidifying his position as a respected figure in the world of guitar craftsmanship.
This 2024 model, numbered 08, is made with a gorgeous spruce soundboard that depicts a tight uniform grain, which is elegantly complemented by the mellowly- Indian rosewood back and sides. A generous binding gives way to a beautiful purfling that replicates the accents on the rosette. Augmenting its myriads of features is the ingeniously crafted, slightly-elevated fretboard, catering to the nuanced needs of guitarists; ensuring effortless playability.
Rooted deeply in tradition, the seven-fan bracing evokes the legacy of classical designs.
In the realm of sound, this guitar has a lot to offer. Its capacity to produce different colours and textures seems endless, delivering a sweet and warm tone that enchants both the audience and the player. Its nuanced sustain, is filled with overtones that effortlessly bind the lower and higher registers and highlights the sensitivity of this instrument. This guitar is an experience, a journey through time and sound, coveted by aficionados and novices alike, epitomizing the zenith of guitar craftsmanship.

Klassische Gitarren
