Lisa Weinzierl

Lisa Weinzierl’s instruments are characterized by clear aesthetic elements, the use of carefully selected materials, and fascinating craftsmanship techniques such as French polish. For Lisa Weinzierl, achieving a perfect setup and functionality is of utmost importance in completing an instrument that provides musicians with freedom and reliability.

Her work is deeply inspired by the study of exceptional classical guitars. As the sole restorer at Siccas Guitars, she had access to a large number of the world’s finest instruments. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, she continually develops her ideas, drawing upon this valuable knowledge.

Lisa’s highly skilled craftsmanship is certified by the prestigious German Meisterbrief qualification. She holds a gold medal and the Master Prize from the Bavarian State Government.

She began her training at the renowned instrument-making school in Mittenwald. This was followed by intensive studies and long-term internships with renowned violin makers such as Gernot Wagner, Andreas Kirschner, Gert Esmyol, Peter Ziegler, Christopher Schütz, and Leo Sprenger.

Currently, Lisa collaborates with the long-established London-based instrument and bow maker W. E. Hill and Sons under the guidance of Stefan-Peter Greiner and Robert Brewer Young. In this creative and vibrant environment, as well as in her workshop in Bavaria (Germany), she brings her guitar-making projects to life.
