Lisa Weinzierl - 2021

Lisa Weinzierl - 2021

Overview

After her training as a guitar maker at the renowned instrument making school in Mittenwald, she gained experience with many established guitar makers such as Gernot Wagner, Andreas Kirschner, Gert Esmyol, Peter Ziegler, Christopher Schuetz, and Leo Sprenger. With her master craftsman diploma in plucked instrument making Lisa received a gold medal and the master craftsman award of the Bavarian state government. Lisa is currently working for the London instrument and bow makers W.E. Hill and Sons under the directors Stefan-Peter Greiner and Robert Brewer Young. In this creative and vibrant workshop, she builds her guitars.

There are some guitars that truly are special and this is one of those. The craftsmanship is of the absolute highest level that we get to see here at Siccas guitars, Lisa only builds a small number of guitars per year, because she spends a lot of time to perfect the entire building process. The gorgeously crafted rosette shows some vibrant matching colors, the most splendid purflings, and a neck that is super comfortable. When playing on the instrument, one can immediately feel its responsiveness and the fine attack, a very lyrical sustain, and a deep bass response. Looking further into the design, the guitar is built with double sides that make the structural integrity more firm. Using this technique allows the luthier to build lighter, thus creating a complex tone with a lot of core. This guitar suits the musician that wants perfection delivered with a lush, sweet, and singing tone.

While this guitar is sold, these are ready for you

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
