Marco Gilioli is a very talented Italian luthier based near Milan, Italy. His instruments are built according to the traditional Spanish method, focusing on both the sound and the needs of the guitarist. A sweet, soft, and well-balanced tone, with deep basses and clear trebles, characterizes his guitars. Playability and sound projection are also very important for Marco. This instrument number 46 is a real treasure. It is simply a well-rounded concert instrument. It has smooth playability, beautiful overall voicing, and excellent volume that will fulfill any playing situation. This traditional guitar was built with a spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides, with the highest level of craftsmanship. Due to its F# primary resonance, this fine instrument has deep yet clear basses accompanied by lyrical and colorful trebles.
