Overview
François Regis Leonard ist ein französischer Gitarrenbauer aus Lorient. Seit über 18 Jahren baut er Gitarren und hatte die Gelegenheit von Gitarrenbauern in England und Deutschland zu lernen, wo er in der Werkstatt des Gitarrenherstellers Lakewood arbeitete. Große Meister wie Daniel Friederich und Dominique Field haben ihm die ästhetischen und baulichen Aspekte der französischen Gitarrenbau-Tradition nähergebracht. Klanglich ist François die „harmonische Präsenz“ seiner Instrumente besonders wichtig.
Diese Gitarre von 2017 kombiniert traditionelle Gitarrenbaukunst mit einem eigenen Lattice-Bracing Konzept des Meisters. Das Design ist wunderschön und zeitlos mit einer hellen Fichtendecke, die in angenehmem Kontrast zum dunklen Palisander in Boden und Zargen steht und die edle, detailreiche Verzierung in der Rosette und den wunderbar gemaserten Steg hervorhebt. Der Klang ist kraftvoll und direkt und verfügt über eine großartige Dynamik. Die Mechaniken sind von Gotoh. Ein Hartschalenkoffer von Humicase ist inklusive.
