Rooted in a deep enthusiasm for guitars, Juan Camps' legacy is now continued by his sons, Jordi and Javier Camps. They were immersed in the art of guitar crafting from a young age, learning the intricacies of the trade under their father's tutelage. With over 70 years of experience, the Camps family upholds a steadfast commitment to the tradition and quality of their products. Emphasizing the importance of preserving traditional methods, every guitar is handcrafted in their workshop in Girona, Spain. This dedication to craftsmanship draws inspiration from the techniques of legendary Spanish luthiers like Antonio Torres, ensuring each instrument is a testament to the enduring legacy of quality and artistry in guitar making.
The Camps La Gravis Classical Guitar, equal to CL-20 model, masterfully handcrafted by Hermanos Camps in northern Spain, showcasing their signature craftsmanship. This elegant guitar pairs fine solid exotic ebony back and sides with a stunning ebony neck, creating a visually striking contrast. Known for its clear, steady tone across all registers and superb balance, the La Sonans excels in projection and sustain, making it exceptionally player-friendly. The neck, noted for its comfort and smoothness, enhances playability, while the newly designed fingerboard adds a touch of elegance with white maple and black benu borders. This world-class guitar, complete with a case, is a testament to the Camps' legacy of creating exquisite, professional-level instruments.
