Overview
Overview
Antonio Raya Pardo was born in Huelva in 1950. At the age of 14, his family moved to Granada where he first worked as a weaver. After that time, he apprenticed to Eduardo Ferrer and later, also for a short period, to José Lopez Bellido. In 1973 he opened his own workshop. Today, he shares the workshop with his son Antonio Raya Ferrer. This traditional flamenco guitar was built in 1975. The top is made of spruce and back and sides are made of cypress wood. The whole guitar is French-polished. This flamenco guitar has a genuine flamenco sound with a very strong basses and a penetrating crisp treble. This is a real professional quality guitar that is suitable for solo performance and dance accompaniment.
The tuners are made by Fustero. There are some play marks but no cracks at all. A hard-shell case is included.
