Daniel Stark – Guitar Maker
Daniel Stark’s passion for music and craftsmanship began early in his childhood. After initial attempts at the piano, the classical guitar became his true passion.
After completing high school, he undertook a one-year internship at the guitar-making workshop of Stephan Schlemper, allowing him to dedicate himself fully to his artisanal interests. A particular source of inspiration during this early phase and beyond was the study of the life and work of Antonio de Torres.
He then completed a four-year program (2002–2006) at the University of Applied Sciences for Musical Instrument Making in Markneukirchen (Masters: Armin Gropp / Christoph Sembdner), earning his diploma.
Even during his studies, international musicians took notice of him (Prof. Eric Franceries (F), 2005 / Prof. Jan Labant (SK), 2006). This marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that led to the rapid spread of his instruments, many of which found their homes in France.
In autumn 2006, Daniel opened his first independent workshop in Friedrichsfehn near Oldenburg (Germany). His passion and expertise in guitar making have earned him recognition and success in the world of music.
Discover the craftsmanship of Daniel Stark, a renowned guitar maker with a deep dedication to music. His journey from early inspirations to international acclaim is reflected in each of his exceptional classical guitars, appreciated worldwide, especially in France.
