Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
The Wolfgang Jellinghaus Signature series represents a modern approach to classical guitar design, incorporating innovative features like a floating fingerboard. This design allows the top under the fingerboard to vibrate freely, enhancing the overall sound quality. Coupled with a very light double-top construction, the guitar produces a powerful sound volume that fills the room effortlessly, making it exceptionally player-friendly for the right hand. Additionally, the inclusion of an armrest increases the overall comfort for the player, making extended sessions less taxing. Finished with shellac, the guitar not only sounds impressive but also presents a visually appealing aesthetic.
