Wolfgang Jellinghaus baut bereits seit seinem vierzehnten Lebensjahr Gitarren. Als Sohn eines Gitarrenbauers kam er 1951 in Dortmund zur Welt, wo er schon im frühesten Kindesalter mit Gitarren aufwuchs und über die Jahre eine große Leidenschaft und Fachkenntnis für dieses Instrument entwickelte. Seit einigen Jahren lebt und arbeitet Wolfgang Jellinghaus in China, wo er in einer kleinen Manufaktur handgebaute Gitarren von erstaunlicher Qualität baut.
Es ist eine wahre Freude diese schöne „Torres 77“ zu spielen. Dieses Modell hat einen kleineren Korpus und bietet ein einzigartiges Spielerlebnis. Sie ist leicht, reaktionsschnell und hat ein überraschend großes Klangvolumen. Für dieses handgefertigte „Torres 77“-Opus wurden Boden und Zargen aus Grandillo und ein Hochglanz-PU-Finish gewählt. Außerdem ist die Fichtendecke von hervorragender Qualität und hat eine sehr schöne gehaselte Maserung.
