Wolfgang Jellinghaus - "Conservatory EF"

Wolfgang Jellinghaus - "Conservatory EF"

Overview

Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been building guitars since the age of fourteen. He was born in 1951 in Dortmund, Germany, the son of a guitar maker, where he grew up with guitars at an early age. Over the years he developed a great passion and expertise for this instrument. Wolfgang Jellinghaus has been living and working in China for several years, where he builds handmade guitars of astonishing quality in a small manufactory.
This model has been developed as a cost-effective alternative to the more elaborate instruments from the Jellinghaus line and offers high sound quality and best playability e.g. for students or guitarists with a limited budget. The spruce top offers a strong yet colorful tone, incredibly sensitive to vibrato and changes in dynamics. It is therefore an expressive and reliable guitar. The elevated fretboard is a nifty feature that enhances the playability above the 12th fret.
The photos of this guitar are general product images that may differ from the actual instrument.

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
