Overview

Vincent Humml is a German luthier from the new generation. Having started his apprenticeship as a plucked instrument maker nine years ago, he studied guitar making in Markneukirchen and refined his skills during various internships and workshops. He established his workshop in Chemnitz, Germany, after receiving the very demanding “Meister” title in lutherie in 2019. Vincent’s guitars have a modern construction and pure aesthetics. He successfully uses the double-top technique to build traditional-sounding guitars with immense power yet a rich and elegant sound. Richness and elegance are also evident in the look of his instrument. His design is pure and refined, always precisely built and tasteful. Vincent belongs to the few elite luthiers of the new generation that do not compromise with quality, as witnessed by the Scheller tuners, immaculate French polish, and 1a wood qualities.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
