Rafael Moreno - 2017 CF

Rafael Moreno - 2017 CF

Overview

Rafael Moreno was born in Tanger, Spain in 1954. At the age of six his family moved to El Farque and after a short period there his family moved to Granada. At the age of 13 he began an apprenticeship at the workshop of Manuel López Bellido. In the following years he worked together with many well known luthiers such as Antonio Marín Montero, Antonio Reinosa Velázquez and Francisco Santiago Marín. Finally in 1976 he opened his own workshop in Calle Jesus y Maria, Granada. Today he is internationally well-known for his master guitars.
This instrument has a warm and full sound, allowing tragic dynamics and incredibly rich pianos. The guitar is very well balanced and the quality on the tone is constant all along the neck. From bass to treble, it is a generous guitar with plentiful of possibilities and a strong personality. All French-polished. A softcase case is included. This guitar is Cites free (CF).

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
