Paco Santiago Marín, was born in Granada 1946. His father, Francisco Santiago Oliva, was a cabinet-maker of vocation, and taught his son Paco Santiago the delicate art of wood crafting. In 1963 Paco Santiago joined the workshop of his uncle, Antonio Marín Montero to complete his transition from a cabinet-maker to a full-fledged luthier. In 1972 he decided to start his own workshop. Paco Santiago’s guitars are highly sought after for their strong projection, balance and tone color. The list of professional guitarists who play on his instruments is as long as one can imagine, for example Ricardo Gallen, Leo Brouwer, Manuel Gonzalez & Iliana Matos, just to name a few. The Aniversario models are the most prestigious and sought after models from this immensely accomplished guitar maker. Only the best and finest materials are used for these works of art.
