Overview
José Marin Plazuelo was born in Granada in 1960. He is the nephew and student of Antonio Marin Montero. He began an apprenticeship with his uncle in 1974 and shortly after started to build guitars under his own name. His guitars are always very fine instruments, entirely French polished, with subtle black/white geometric mosaics. They are often played in great concert-halls all around the world by professional guitarists and have a typical warm Spanish sound.
This beautiful cedar top guitar has a very impressive volume and can fill huge concert halls, as well as being suitable for ensembles and chamber music. It is very comfortable to play and responds immediately to the player’s input. Many sound qualities such as its long sustain, rich warm tone and sweet singing trebles invite to approach every kind of music on this guitar with ease.
