Overview

About the luthier

Jonas Anatol Schneele discovered his passion for guitar making early on as an enthusiastic guitarist. After completing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he followed his fascination for wood and sound and trained as a plucked instrument maker at the technical college in Mittenwald, graduating in 2007. From 2013 to 2016, he deepened his knowledge of acoustics, restoration, innovative construction techniques, and musical instrument design through further studies at the College of Musical Instrument Construction in Markneukirchen. In 2017, he successfully completed his master craftsman’s examination in Mittenwald. Today, Jonas Schneele is one of the promising new generation of German luthiers, known for his precision craftsmanship, balanced tonal aesthetics, and thoughtful innovations.

About the guitar

This 2025 Classic Pro N°29 is built according to the traditional Spanish construction method, and features a domed spruce top that is exceptionally light and stiff, with a classic 7-fan bracing pattern inspired by José Ramírez's designs. The top and back are both spherically curved for increased stability and projection, resulting in a fast, direct response and a powerful, full sound.

The understated and thoughtful decoration highlights the modern artistic vision of this craftsman. The instrument’s expressive power and tonal flexibility are among its greatest strengths, allowing the guitarist complete freedom in tone shaping and dynamics, with little effort. All in all, a guitar capable of impressing in the concert hall and inspiring in intimate settings alike.

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
