Johann Gottfried Scherzer was born in 1834. He's one of the most important Viennese luthiers and he worked also for J. A. Stauffer. The two-piece back and the ribs are made of strongly flamed maple.The head is connected to the neck in the German style. The neck is screwed to the guitar’s body and is individually adjustable.
