Overview
Gerhard Oldiges begann in den späten siebziger Jahren neben seinem Studium, Gitarren zu bauen und absolvierte nach seinem Abschluss eine zweijährige Ausbildung zum Gitarrenbauer. Anschließend arbeitete er zunächst in einer Gitarren-Reparatur-Werkstatt. 1988 nahm er an einem Gitarrenbaukurs von José Romanillos teil, mit dem ihn bis heute eine Freundschaft verbindet und dessen Kurse er seit 1996 regelmäßig mitbetreut. Gerhard Oldiges beschäftigt sich intensiv mit der Geschichte des spanischen Gitarrenbaus. So liegt ein besonderer Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit auf dem Nachbau alter spanischer Meister-Instrumente von Antonio de Torres, Vicente Arias, Manuel Ramírez und anderen.
Sie hat eine wunderschöne Fichtendecke und Boden/Zargen sind aus indischem Palisander. Die Gitarre hat einen wunderbar weichen und lieblichen Klang. Die Bässe und tiefen Mitten eine warme, singende Note und unterstreichen so die hellen Höhen besonders angenehm. Das Instrument ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Mechaniken sind von Sloane. Ein Hiscox Pro II Hartschalenkoffer ist inklusive.
