Erez Perelman – 2023

Erez Perelman – 2023

Overview

At the age of 13, Erez Perelman discovered his love for playing the guitar. For many years, he graced the professional stage as a guitarist and even shared his knowledge by teaching. As his fervor for playing deepened, an equal passion for guitar crafting emerged. During his time in California, this newfound love inspired him to begin crafting guitars. Today, Erez Perelman resides in Canada, and his guitars have been chosen by globally renowned guitarists, such as Paco de Lucia and Angel Romero.

This magnificent concert guitar stands as a testament to Erez Perelman's craftsmanship. He endowed it with an impeccable aesthetic, a distinctive sound, and a captivating aroma by opting for a splendid Israeli cypress for the back and sides. This rare timber resonates with exceptional acoustic properties, bestowing the sound with an extraordinary quality. Tuned deeply, the guitar radiates a pleasantly rounded and warm tone. The bass E string thrums with a dense, intricate complexity and sustain, while its counterpart, the treble E string, serenades with a voice that's both elegant and distinct. Playing this guitar is an absolute delight, offering abundant vibrations to the guitarist's left hand and chest. Furthermore, this instrument appears almost untouched, showing barely any signs of wear. Altogether, it represents a premium traditional guitar crafted by a sought-after luthier with a very limited output.

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
