Overview
Overview
Danilo Bazzana was born in Milan in 1985. At the age of thirteen, he started to play the guitar, which became one of his future passions. In April 2015 he opened his workshop in the center of Paderno Dugnano, where he alternates the construction of the classical guitar with the work of fine-tuning, restoration, and repair on any type of pinched instrument. He builds guitars of a traditional type, inspired by the great masters, paying close attention to the choice of materials of every single component of the instrument.
Rooted in tradition, Danilo holds the philosophy that every component of a guitar "must vibrate in its entirety," driving his exacting selection of materials to achieve perfect harmony in the instrument’s sonic expression. This commitment is embodied in a remarkable guitar featuring a spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides, combining striking aesthetics with an exceptional tonal character. Influenced by the esteemed French school of guitar-making, it reflects the legacy of masters such as Robert Bouchet and Daniel Friederich. The instrument boasts sublime playability, with sustained notes that flow effortlessly, balanced harmony, and a concert-worthy volume. Its sound is crystalline and layered, with great projection and distinct clarity, making it a versatile instrument for both polyphonic and melodic arrangements. The meticulously designed fingerboard that ensures optimal comfort and playability for the artist.
