Camps guitars is a renowned and acknowledged Spanish guitar manufacture that stands for quality, artisanship, and innovation. Jordi and Javier Camps, the sons of founder Juan Camps, run this successful manufacture based in Girona (Spain), which employs highly qualified luthiers. The Concierto Negra model is part of the prestigious line called "Hermanos Camps". It was developed in collaboration with concert artist and professor Manuel Granados. Its design is aimed at providing the best playing experience and excellent sound.
The fairly lightweight construction, slightly raised fingerboard and finely profiled neck makes this guitar a treat for the left hand. The noble model made of Madagascar rosewood offers a full, clear, and powerful sound. The highly responsive basses project with great ease and perfectly complement the treble strings, which are rich in overtones. Finally, a transparent golpeador on the soundboard ensures that this versatile guitar can be used in the full variety of the Spanish guitar repertoire.
