Overview
This Giebel model was built by Andreas Krüger in 2012. It’s a traditional built guitar and has a 7-fan bracing. As as modern feature the instrument has an elevated fretboard. Guitars with elevated fretboard are easier to play and allow great reach and playability in the upper positions. For the top Andreas has chosen a beautiful spruce wood and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The rosette is made of burl wood as well as the complete binding which makes the guitar a real eye-catcher. By Niccolò Alessi are the tuning machines. The guitar has a French polish finish.
