About the Guitar Maker Andrea Stanzione

Andrea Stanzione comes from Lissone, a small village north of Milan in the Brianza region, internationally known for its longstanding tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship. Through visits to local workshops, he was introduced early on to the art of woodworking. However, it would take several more years before guitar making became part of his life.

After graduating as an electrical technician in 2001, Andrea decided to take a completely different path and enrolled at the Milan School of Instrument Making, from which he graduated with honors in 2005. A few years later, he met master luthier Enrico Bottelli, with whom he developed a long-term collaboration. During this period, he deepened his technical and historical understanding of the traditional Spanish classical guitar.

Today, his workshop is located in the charming Villapizzone district on the northwestern outskirts of Milan. There, Andrea Stanzione builds high-quality classical guitars that reflect his deep knowledge of traditional craftsmanship along with his precise and elegant personal style.
