Hanna Link
Hanna Link received her first guitar lessons at the age of six, earning numerous prizes at “Jugend musiziert”, including on the national level. She also began piano lessons early in her musical development.
From 2009 to 2013 she studied with Prof. Thomas Königs at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg, graduating as a music teacher with classical guitar as her main subject. During this time she formed a guitar duo with Kathrin Meyer, which led her to pursue a master’s degree in chamber music at the same institution.
She continued her studies with Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering at the Franz Liszt University of Applied Sciences in Weimar, completing a master’s degree in guitar with a focus on cultural management. During her time in Weimar, she became a member of the international Weimar Guitar Quartet. She also performs in a duo with violinist Rebekka Wagner, with whom she had already collaborated before her studies.
In March 2015 she received a teaching position at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg, where she teaches the minor subject Classical Guitar and Chamber Music. Hanna Link has received valuable artistic inspiration from musicians such as Ricardo Gallén, Carlo Marchione and Alvaro Pierri.
