Biography
Born on 12.09.1930 in Naples.
1935 First fateful encounter with classical music through the Neapolitan surgeon Eriberto Aievoli.
From 1936 piano lessons.
1957 Graduation with distinction at the Polytechnic of the University Federico Secondo of Naples as a mechanical engineer.
1958 – 1959 Engineer at the company Ansaldo in Sampierdarena (Genoa).
1959 – 1962 Engineer at Pirelli Milano – Bicocca.
At the same time guitar lessons with Aldo Minella and harmony and music history at the Milan Conservatory.
1961 – 1962 Lecturer for mechanical engineering at the Istituto Ettore Conti, Milan.
1962 Entrance examination at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (then the Music Academy of the City of Vienna) in the class of Karl Scheit.
1962 – 1965 Guitar teacher at the Teacher Training College Vienna.
1964 First encounter with Robert Bouchet.
1965 Concert diploma for classical guitar with distinction.
1965 Appointment to the Music Academy of the City of Basel.
1965 Foundation of the Duo Italiano Sicca – Fleres for guitar and fortepiano and guitar and harpsichord with pianist Rita Maria Fleres.
1966 First encounter with Daniel Friederich.
1968 – 1971 Lecturer at the Music Academy of the City of Karlsruhe.
1971 – 1981 Professor at the State University of Music and Performing Arts, Karlsruhe.
1979 – 1981 Teaching assignment at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
1981 – 1995 Professor at the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
1995 – 2002 Teaching assignment at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart.
