Tatyana Ryzhkova

Tatyana Ryzhkova

Tatyana Ryzhkova was born in 1986 in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. At the age of 10, she took her first guitar lessons from V.V. Gromov, one of the best music teachers in Belarus. Thanks to her talent, perseverance and her teacher’s guidance, she achieved a high proficiency level, which allowed her to perform successfully at an international duets competition in Poland. As the youngest competitor, Tatyana received the highest mark in her group and was awarded an honorary diploma.

Over the next 2.5 years, Tatyana took part in more than 200 concerts on some of the most significant stages of Minsk and Belarus, such as the Big Hall of the National Philharmonic, the Theatre of Musical Comedy, the Church of St. Roch, as well as at governmental and presidential concerts. In 1999, she was awarded a scholarship from the Presidential Foundation in support of young talents. Numerous radio and TV performances helped her gain the love and recognition of the public. She began her higher education under the guidance of Michael Zhuravlev at the Glinka Music College in Minsk. After only one year, she successfully passed all necessary exams and was accepted into the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar in Germany, joining one of the most prestigious guitar classes led by Professor Thomas Müller-Pering.

In 2009, Tatyana became a scholarship holder of the Neue Liszt Stiftung Weimar. She is a prize-winner of various competitions in Belarus, Russia, Poland and other countries, and a participant in international festivals in Poland, Germany and Italy. She took masterclasses with leading European guitarists such as Carlo Marchione, Pavel Steidl, John Dearman (LAGQ), Olaf van Gonnissen, Giampaolo Bandini, Darko Petrinjak, Tomasz Zawierucha and Kurt Rodarmer.

Currently, she continues her active concert career and teaches guitar at music schools in Achim and Bremen. Her recordings have attracted more than 2,000,000 online views, and the number is growing. Her performances are noted for a special fullness and softness of sound, delicate and sensual musicality, elegance of style, virtuosity and a rich repertoire. Tatyana also writes her own songs, combining meaningful content, accessibility, emotional warmth and theatrical expressiveness.

Your next step is a real classic

  • Classical Guitar

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
